The plot thickened in a drug trafficking case that's suspected to involve police officers. A second policeman was arrested with crystal meth on him.

The officers were reportedly part of a team that landed a record bust of methamphetamines in Yau Ma Tei earlier, that came in at nearly 300 kilograms.

It's emerged that more than one policeman is involved in suspected "drug dealing".

Authorities revealed late last night, they arrested another officer, a 31-year-old constable, in a Shek Kip Mei flat.

They seized 23 kilograms of crystal meth there.

Authorities believe he was working with a 41-year-old sergeant, who was arrested in a Tsim Sha Tsui hotel early Thursday morning with two kilos of the drug on him.

In that raid, authorities seized other drugs too - ketamine and cocaine - with a total worth of $1.4 million.

Sources say both policemen were from the anti-triad squad at the Kowloon West regional headquarters.

That team had seized nearly 300 kilograms of methamphetamines in Yau Ma Tei last week, worth $160 million.

It's the biggest haul in Hong Kong since 1991.

Now, police are believed to be looking at whether those suspects may have taken those drugs from a police evidence room to sell.
